and Community Learning works with partners in Sunderland to promote
'Skills for Life' learning.
Many adults feel the need to improve their skills in Maths and
English. This can help with things like finding a new job, moving
up the career ladder or helping children with homework.
Adult and Community Learning offers friendly and informal 'return
to learn' sessions for adults that would like to brush up their
skills.
None of these courses have tests or exams. They are designed
to help build basic skills and confidence so learners can move
on at their own pace.
