Three teenage computer buffs from the University are swapping
PCs for
parachutes in the New Year when they take part in a charity
skydive.
The three, James King, Colin Atkinson and Craig Snowdon all joined
Sunderland as modern apprentices in ITaCs and have remained firm
friends ever since.
Now the trio are taking a leap into the unknown for charity.
They are taking part in a sponsored skydive to raise funds for
Skill, a national charity dedicated to helping disabled students
make the most of their learning and employment opportunities.
James, Colin and Craig plan to make their jump at the end of
February. The 10,000 foot jump will see them hurtling to earth
a 120 mph - but they face a testing time even before that, as
they must raise at least £350 each to take part.
If you would like to sponsor the lads, or can help them in their
fund raising drive, contact them on 0191 515 2992
